Innovative implementation of cloud computing solutions for food safety and infectious disease surveillance.
About us
Next generation sequencing and bioinformatics are revolutionizing public health infectious disease surveillance. Unfortunately, at the state public health level there is a shortage of expertise not only in the utilization of these tools, but in their implementation for real time public health intervention. The barriers in implementation are often rooted in an IT infrastructure that was developed to support business environments, not cutting edge scientific computing environments. At Theiagen we aim to work with state IT and bring these computing resources outside the state infrastructure and leverage the affordability, scalability, and security of cloud computing environments, resulting in cutting edge technology driving your public health interventions.
